A group of four Sandy, Vivian, Cory and I. Sandy and I were the most talkative and making decisions in the group. Vivian was moderate and almost agrees to anything. Cory was the less talkative one in the group because he is an international student from Taiwan so he is not confident with his English skills but he talks when we asks him about something.
The Group activity and learning
After almost an hour of bowling we went to have lunch together at the school food court and talked for another 30 to 40 minutes knowing each other. What so ever we have felt during this activity I can categorize in some specific areas-
Team Spirit
During the bowling I felt that unconsciously there is a team spirit which comes naturally. Team spirit is very important factor to draw a team and to make every body aware with the team objectives. This kind of activity is one of the best sources to build up the team spirit.
Leadership Quality
Leadership quality is the main tool to draw a group in the desired direction with the desired speed. I felt that in the process of managing thing on the spot one has to be with this kind of quality. This is not only limited to ones particular performance but this is also important for the motivation and the success of the team.(Robbin Sharma)
Interactive Approach
Meanwhile the game I felt that we had very good coordination and became more interactive than at the lunch time. Since we tried to perform our best in this activity we all were involve in communicating at our best level so that best outcome can be found, thus this process made us very talkative and interactive.
Confidence Build up
Confidence is the main tool to win a game. We all were full of confidence and were sure
To perform better and better. In this process we found that Cory who is less talkative and
not very fluent in English, also started talking with full confidence. Even after the bowling he was very confident and we found that this is the magic of this activity only.
Motivation
During this bowling session we all motivated each other, so that we can perform better. This process made us able to respect each candidate and give adequate importance to each other. Motivation is the key tool to make one self forward than other and it gives the power to face the challenges. The same thing we felt in this process of bowling.(M.Jacob)
Self Evaluation
The most important thing is evaluation of our work, so that we can point out the positives and negative of the team. For a better performance it is mandatory to evaluate oneself. This is the complete process of redefine ones ability and stamina. This kind of activity is the source to teach a lot, provided that we have an eye to watch. This kind of activity gives a complete solution to decision making power. It can be getting through the STEP model. STEP model is the short form of five words.(Mandi.j Luis)

Think- gather information and think about the possible alternatives
Evaluate- Consider all your alternatives
Pros and Cons- looks at your top choices and weigh the advantages and disadvantages of each. Select the choice best for you.
Solution- try your solution and monitor the result make sure you get the desired result from your decisions . if not repeat the STEPS.
